SolarXgen installed a 387.39 kWp rooftop solar + BESS system at the Eduvos Midrand Campus in Gauteng. Using 698 JA Solar 555W panels and 11 Deye 50kW hybrid inverters with 798.72 kWh battery storage, the system generates over 593,000 kWh annually with an excellent performance ratio of 81%. The hybrid configuration provides the tertiary education institution with reliable, clean energy during academic operating hours while the battery storage ensures uninterrupted power during grid outages — powering lecture halls, computer labs, libraries and administrative buildings.
