Wesselton Mall

One of SolarXgen's flagship projects, the Wesselton Mall installation is a large-scale 504.57 kWp rooftop solar array using 1,529 Canadian Solar 330W panels and 8 Sungrow inverters. Located at the Wesselton Crossing centre in Ermelo, the system generates over 772 MWh annually with a performance ratio of 78.60%, covering a substantial portion of the centre's daytime energy consumption. The system includes full genset integration, protecting critical loads — cold chain, security, lifts and anchor tenants — during load shedding events.
